Possible Vandalism Suspects Sought

Graffiti was found on the east side of the Avaxat Elementary School campus, according to the Murrieta Police Department.

Murrieta police are looking into who may be responsible for graffiti found on an elementary school.

Between Jan. 20 and Jan. 23, unknown suspects spray-painted graffiti on a retaining wall and buildings on the east side of the campus, 24300 Las Brisas Road, according to a flier posted on the Murrieta Police Department website.

Two possible subjects were captured on surveillance video in the area of the graffiti and are wanted for questioning, according to the flier.

The vandalism may have occurred between midnight and 7 a.m. on the above mentioned days, according to the flier.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the possible suspects was asked to contact the Murrieta Police Department at 951-696-3615.
