TRAFFIC ALERT: Trailer Fire Blocks I-15 Lanes in Temecula

Update: 3:08 p.m.: 

CHP logs indicate that all lanes have reopened on Interstate 15 in Temecula following a trailer fire.

Update 2:50 p.m.: 

The California Highway Patrol reports that one lane remains blocked at this time.

The number three lane has been reopened, while the number four remains closed.

Original story as follows: 

A burning tractor- trailer parked on the shoulder of Interstate 15, near Winchester Road in Temecula, is causing traffic delays in the area, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fire was reported along the northbound lanes of Interstate 15, north of Winchester, around 1:55 p.m., according to CHP logs.  By 2:03 p.m., the fifth-wheel trailer was "fully engulfed."

Two of the four lanes were blocked as of 2:15 p.m., reports indicated.  Traffic was backed up to south of Rancho California.

The number three and four lanes are slated to be closed until further notice, CHP said.

Cal Fire crews were on scene, CHP said.

It was a RV 5th wheel, not a tractor trailer.
