Suspected Burglar Enters Through Doggie Door

The alleged break-in occurred between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday on Ravenwood Drive in Murrieta, police confirmed.

Police are investigating the burglary of a home in Murrieta.

The alleged break-in occurred between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday morning in the 40000 block of Ravenwood Drive, Murrieta police Lt. Rob Firmes confirmed.

The suspected burglar or burglars entered the home through a doggie door, Firmes told Patch.

The victim reported that a few items of value were missing.

Firmes did not go into detail regarding the value of the property because the investigation was ongoing.

Murrieta police were canvassing nearby homes to ask whether neighbors had noticed anything suspicious Thursday morning.
