Three people were injured—one moderately—in a multi-vehicle crash Thursday on southbound Interstate 215 at McCall Boulevard in Menifee, prompting the blockage of the southbound lanes, according to reports.
The four-vehicle collision was reported at about 11:20 a.m., Melody Hendrickson, a spokeswoman for CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department, wrote in an incident report.

That person suffered injuries described as moderate and was transported to a local hospital via ambulance.
Two others suffered injuries described as minor by the spokeswoman.
As of 11:51 a.m., all southbound lanes were closed at the accident scene, California Highway Patrol reported. Motorists were being diverted across the McCall off-ramp and back onto I-215 via the McCall on-ramp.
A sigalert was expected to remain in effect until about 1 p.m., according to CHP.
The crash site is within a 55-mph construction zone for the I-215 widening project.
