School Bus Crash Blocks Domenigoni Parkway

A car and a school bus collided Wednesday night on Domenigoni Parkway in Winchester, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. on eastbound Domenigoni, about a mile east of Winchester Road/Highway 79, CHP reported on its Web page.

Medics were dispatched to the scene but it was not immediately known whether anyone was treated for injuries.

Caltrans District 8 advised via its Twitter page that there were no children aboard the bus.

Eastbound lanes were blocked until about 7:30 p.m., CHP reported.
