Pair Accused of Stealing Purse From Target Lot
Police believe a man and a woman seen on surveillance footage may be responsible for stealing a purse Saturday from a cart in the Cal Oaks Target parking lot.
A man and woman are wanted for questioning in the theft of a purse from a store parking lot.
Police say a woman had her purse taken around 10 a.m. Saturday morning at , after forgetting it in a shopping cart and driving off. She'd emptied her purchases and then returned to the shopping cart to a cart well.
Police say a man observed the purse when he returned his cart. The suspects then drove over to the cart well at about 10:12 a.m., and the woman allegedly got out of the car and grabbed the purse, according to a flier posted on the Murrieta Police Department website.

The woman was desribed as white in her 30s, with a medium build and black hair.
The man was described as white, also in his 30s, with a medium to heavy build, brown hair and goatee.

They were seen driving a black Ford Expedition with a model year sometime in the 2000s, according to police.
