Probation Granted For Woman Accused of Conning Mother

Brook Bailey, 47, will serve three years probation after a plea deal was reached.

A Murrieta woman has been granted probation in a case in which it was alleged she and her husband

As part of a plea deal reached March 2, Brook Bailey, 47, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor of possessing an access card without the consent of the owner, according to court records.

She was sentenced to three years probation.

Bailey and her husband, 35-year-old Anthony——had been arrested by Murrieta police in April 2011 after allegations were made by her mother and another family member.

The couple was accused of taking out lines of credit in the mother's name. The money was allegedly spent on things such as car payments for a BMW, business equipment and plastic surgery.

After a Murrieta police investigation, they both faced felony charges of grand theft, embezzling from an elderly person under their care and taking or destroying property.

Those charges were dismissed as part of the plea deal, court records show.

Under the terms of probation, Bailey—also known as Brooke Siciliano—was forbidden to have negative contact with her mother or to have any financial dealings with her. She was also ordered to pay restitution.
