UPDATE: Service Restored to All

According to SCE, 53 customers were without power Wednesday after equipment was damaged in a crash near Whitewood and Clinton Keith roads.

UPDATE at 9:51 p.m.:

Service was restored to all customers shortly before 1 p.m., according to Southern California Edison spokesperson David Song.

A traffic accident Wednesday morning in the area of Whitewood and Clinton Keith roads caused a power outage in Murrieta, according to Southern California Edison.

Fifty-three customers were without power starting at 9 a.m., SCE reported on its website.

Crews were working to repair the damaged equipment and restore service.

An estimated restoral time of 12:30 p.m. was given.

A Patch reader reported traffic lights were out near the crash site.

Murrieta Patch had a request in to the Murrieta Police Department for more information about the crash.
