Police Seek to Identify Suspects Seen Using Lost Credit Card

A total of four unauthorized purchases were made on the victim's credit card, according to police.

Murrieta police are seeking to identify two suspects caught on surveillance footage as they allegedly used a bank card that did not belong to them.

The victim told police he lost his keys—which had a small Bank of America card attached—at around 3 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 4, 2012 at Ralphs.

A total of four unauthorized purchases were then made on the victim’s credit card, Murrieta police stated in a wanted flier posted Jan. 16 on the Department's website.

The first two purchases allegedly occurred at 6:47 p.m. that same day at Carl’s Jr., 40981 California Oaks Road, and were caught on surveillance footage, according to police. Another two transactions were made at the Shell gas station across the street from Carl’s Jr.

The suspects were described as two white males, one wearing a gray uniform shirt and the other wearing a black shirt and black hat.
