Police Seek to Bring Runaway Teen Home

Jessica Rae Shelton, 15, left home Jan. 10, according to Murrieta police.

Murrieta police are seeking to bring a runaway teen home who was last seen by her family Jan. 10.

Jessica Rae Shelton, 15, may be staying in the Los Angeles area, according to Murrieta police Sgt. Dave Baca.

"She has been in contact with friends via email and states she is fine," Baca told Patch Wednesday in an email.

Jessica is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes, and weighs 125 pounds, according to a flier posted on the Murrieta Police Department website.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was encouraged to call the Murrieta Police Department at 951-696-3615 or Sgt. Baca at 951-461-6308.
