Police Seek Suspect in Super Target iPad Robbery

The suspect allegedly grabbed two iPads in Super Target, punched the sales associate and ran out of the store, according to police.

Murrieta police have released surveillance footage in an effort to identify a man accused of forcefully stealing two iPads from a local retail store.

The alleged robbery occurred at about 9:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 at Super Target, 27817 Clinton Keith Road. 

The suspect is seen entering the store then making his way to the electronics department. He then asked a sales associate for assistance with an Apple iPad kept in a locked display.

When the associate unlocked the display, the suspect allegedly grabbed two iPads and then punched the sales associate, police said.

Surveillance video shows the suspect running out of the store, then northbound through the parking lot toward Linnel Lane.

He is described as a white male between 20 and 25 years old, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing between 175 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a yellow, black and gray flannel shirt over a white T‐shirt, and dirty jeans, according to police.
