Police Seek Suspect in Cash Register Burglary

The burglary took place May 26 at Jack in the Box on Madison Avenue, Murrieta police said today.

Murrieta police released photos today of a cash register burglary suspect in hopes the public can help identify him.

The alleged burglary took place at 10:57 p.m. May 26 at at 24620 Madison Ave.

The suspect, a white male with tattoos, allegedly reached into the drive-through window, taking the cash register key from atop the register.

Then according to video surveillance, at 10:59 p.m. the suspect unlocked the register and removed cash.

According to a flier posted on Murrieta's Most Wanted, the suspect was a white male wearing a black baseball cap with white stitching in the front, a white muscle shirt and dark pants.

He has tattoos on both arms, police said. On his right shoulder, police said he has a tattoo of a dagger with the blade pointing downward. On his left arm/shoulder, he has a cross, according to police.
