UPDATED: Police Seek Public's Help In Finding Missing Woman

Jenny Guadalupe Neri, 19, has dark hair and was wearing a white shirt, gray sweat pants and sandals when she was last seen. She suffers from a mental illness and does not have her meds with her, family told sheriff's officials.

Authorities today were asking for the public's help in locating a missing 19-year-old Perris woman who went missing earlier this week.

Jenny Guadalupe Neri was last seen Tuesday in the 2000 block of Yucateca Street in Perris, said Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Ryan Hoxmeier.

As reported by the family, she suffers from a mental health illness but does not have her prescribed medication with her. She has no financial means to support herself, i.e. cash, credit cards, cellphone, vehicle or job, sheriff's officials said.

"Through the course of our investigation, we determined she might be traveling to churches or missions in Riverside or San Bernardino counties," he said. "She may be staying at a shelter in the area. There is no indication of foul play at this time."

Neri has dark hair and was wearing a white shirt, gray sweat pants and sandals when she was last seen.

Anyone with information of her whereabouts was urged to contact Investigator Justino Flores from the sheriff's Perris Station at 951-210-1047.
