Two boys are suspected of burglarizing Menifee homes and stealing property while the residents were asleep.

The juveniles, whose identities were not released because of their ages, allegedly broke into multiple residences over the past month, generally in the vicinity Holland and Menifee roads, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Sam Morovich.

Both youths, who were arrested over the weekend, "entered the occupied dwellings through unsecured sliding glass doors, windows and pet access doors," the sergeant alleged.

"During most of the burglaries, the victims were asleep inside the house," he said.

Detectives eventually identified the pair and served search warrants at their families' homes in the 27000 block of High Gate Court and the 27000 block of Partridge Court, according to Morovich.

He said stolen goods were recovered at both locations, including "iPads, Xboxes, smart phones, gift cards, money and credit cards."

The suspects were booked into Southwest Juvenile Hall in Murrieta.

KMA so what you're saying is shooting thieves is wrong?
KMA June 11, 2014 at 01:24 AM
No Spike I am not- I would be the first to shoot anybody breaking into my house. The violation of the law would be burglary and the shooting- judged by 12 or carried by 6, your choice.

I dont wish for the boy's homes to get robbed. That's their family's home. Why punish people who didnt do the crime? Let's not have gang mentality

KMA, Steve Newman wants you to think he moves though his house like a cat, is extremely strong and evasive yet ....yet, he's 65 years old, probably has trouble controlling his poop let alone weld a AR-15 around like Rambo.....envision Walter Brennan on the Real McCoy's is what the real Steve Newman is like when not hidden behind a keyboard in my opinion.
