Patient Rescued in French Valley Crash

One person was extricated from their vehicle following a two-car crash Monday evening in French Valley.
The accident was reported just after 7 p.m. at Pourroy Road and Winchester Road, according to CHP's incident page, and involved a black Nissan sedan and a blue Honda sedan.
Both vehicles were found in the middle of the intersection, CHP's preliminary report stated, and the Honda may have been traveling at a high rate of speed when the collision occurred.

CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded and had to perform a "minor extrication," Spokeswoman Jody Hagemann confirmed.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but there was no immediate word on the severity of the patient or patients' injuries, or whether they were transported to a hospital.
