Pair Wanted for Making Alleged Fraudulent Credit Card Purchases

A credit card allegedly stolen from Menifee was used a few hours later in Murrieta, according to police investigators.

A man and a woman are sought in connection with the alleged theft of a credit card which they are accused of using at a Murrieta convenience store.

Murrieta police said that at 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 13, the victims in the theft parked their car inside the garage of their Menifee home. An unknown suspect allegedly took the victim's purse out of the car.

At about 3 a.m. the next morning, the victim's credit card was used at 7-Eleven, 40210 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, in Murrieta, according to police. The card was also used at a location in Hemet, police said.

The first suspect was described as a white male about 30 years old with brown hair and eyes and wearing glasses.

The second suspect was described as a white female about 30 years old with blonde hair.

The suspect's vehicle was described as a dark-colored older model convertible, possibly a Ford Mustang.
