Murrieta Woman Suspected in Palm Desert Stabbing

Karelee Lovelace, 36, of Murrieta, was arrested Sunday by Palm Desert deputies when a man was found with a non-life threatening stab wound.

A Murrieta woman was arrested in Palm Desert Sunday for allegedly stabbing someone.

Palm Desert deputies responded at 1:20 p.m. Sunday to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 74000 block Candlewood Drive.

Witnesses reported a female was trying to stab a male with a knife in front of the location. Deputies found a male on scene with a non-life threatening stab wound.

Karelee Lovelace, 36, of Murrieta, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Lovelace was booked at the Indio jail and released the following day on $25,000 bail.
