Murrieta Police Seek Woman Caught On Camera Stealing Teen's iPad

The woman is described as Caucasian with long blonde hair, in her 30s or 40s, approximately 5'6" to 5'7" tall weighing between 140 and 150 pounds.

The Murrieta Police Department is hoping the public can help identify a woman who is wanted on suspicion of stealing a teenager’s iPad during a visit Sunday to a local Mexican restaurant.

The unknown woman, who is shown in the attached surveillance photos taken at Los Jilbertos on Nov. 24 at approximately 4:38 p.m., is suspected of spotting the iPad at the restaurant’s self-serve drink station and then quietly slipping the gadget into her purse as the boy and his family searched the restaurant for it.

The woman is described as Caucasian with long blonde hair, in her 30s or 40s, approximately 5’6” to 5’7” tall weighing between 140 and 150 pounds. In the surveillance tape she is seen wearing a black leather jacket and black boots, with an olive green shirt and blue jeans.

Los Jilbertos is located at 25021 Madison Avenue in Murrieta.
