Murrieta PD Honored for 'Significant' Contributions Fighting Drunk Driving; 474 Arrests Last Year
Four Murrieta police officers alone made a combined total of 181 DUI arrests in 2013, according to the police department. Overall, there were 474 DUI arrests in the city during that time period.
The following is a news release from the Murrieta Police Department:
On 03-12-2014 MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) held their annual awards luncheon at the Riverside Convention Center recognizing officers in Riverside County that made a significant contribution to reducing drunk driving in their respective cities in the County.
Murrieta PD Officers Tony Ustoy with 73 arrests, Jason Jones with 47 arrests, Corporal Kent Chivington with 36 arrests, and Officer Frank Pitetti with 25 arrests were recognized during the event and received a plaque and a 23152 uniform pin for their efforts.
These four officers dedication resulted in 181 DUI arrest in 2013. Overall, Murrieta PD officers made 474 arrests for DUI in 2013.
