Brent was pronounced dead at Inland Valley Medical Center at 7:02 a.m., according to the coroner.

San Diego-based Steven Gold, Attorney at Law, said he was a personal friend of Brent's.

"Wade was such a great person. He always put family first, always helped out friends, made great sacrifices so people would be safer when they vacationed, and was extremely hard working, honest, caring, and responsible," Gold said. "The world suffered a tremendous loss today, and our deepest condolences are with Wade's family."

Brent was riding a burgundy 2006 Yamaha Venturo motorcycle south on I-15, between the number one and two lanes, at approximately 40 mph, according to a report from the California Highway Patrol.

When traffic ahead slowed, he was unable to avoid hitting a Mazda 3 in front of him, the CHP report stated. Upon impact with the car, he lost control of his bike and was ejected onto the road where another motorcyclist on a black 2006 Suzuki was unable to avoid running over him, the CHP reported.

The 21-year-old Suzuki rider, a Temecula resident, also lost control of his bike, crashed into the center divider, and was ejected onto the northbound center median, according to the CHP. He suffered moderate injuries and was also transported to an area hospital.

There were no reports of injuries to the 41-year-old Mazda driver from Murrieta.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, according to the CHP report.
