Murrieta Man Dies After Crashing Into Fence

The coroner's office Saturday named a man who crashed his pickup truck into a fence in Menifee and later died.

Klaus Weis, 68, of Murrieta, drifted off a roadway Friday and crashed at the intersection of Briggs Road and Marino Drive, prompting a call for help at about 1:30 p.m.. He was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center in Murrieta where he died at 2:09 p.m., the coroner's office reported.

No cause of death was immediately reported. Weis showed no outward signs of trauma after the crash, the coroner's office reported.

sounds like he had a medical emergency like a stroke or heart attack. After all, it was the middle of the day...RIP.

My heart goes out to the family. They have amazing neighbors that will always be there for them & that are also going through the loss of a loved one. He was such a nice man... I would always see him outside working on his yard with a big smile. RIP Klaus you're in a much better place now. P.S. Yes, it was a medical emergency. He passed away from a heart attack. :/
