Original story published May 15, 2014 as follows:

A female was found dead inside a Temecula home Thursday morning and a suspect who fled the scene was later arrested, authorities said.

Deputies were sent around 9 a.m. to the 27000 block of Nellie Court to investigate a report of an assault with a deadly weapon inside a home, according to a statement from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

"Officers arrived on scene and located a deceased female in the residence," according to the statement.

Apparently, after the crime happened, a nearby resident spotted someone leaving the house.  That person called cops to tell them they were following the suspect, and provided a location, according to police.

"A short time later officers located and arrested the suspect in a nearby shopping center," the sheriff's statement read.

The names of both the victim and the suspect were being withheld because of the ongoing investigation, authorities said.

"All parties are known and there is no one outstanding at this time," sheriff's spokesman Deputy Albert Martinez told Patch.

V.W.D.S. - Told you it was going to convoluted. Two stabbings, both women, locations are only an hours walk apart, no time of arrest listed for first suspect.
