Multiple Crashes Block I-215 and 15 South in Murrieta
Both southbound lanes of Interstate 215 were blocked where the freeway meets southbound Interstate 15, the CHP reported. Then on Interstate 15 south, the number three, four and five lanes were blocked.
UPDATE: The Sigalert was canceled at 12:07 p.m. when lanes were reported clear.

At least two, multiple-vehicle crashes were affecting traffic heading south between Murrieta and Temecula today.

A siglalert was issued at 11:48 a.m. for the number three, four and five lanes on southbound Interstate 15 just north of Winchester Road after a crash involving four vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A little further north, both lanes of southbound Interstate 215 were blocked where the two freeways meet due to a three-vehicle crash, the CHP reported.
