We live on East Benton (in TEMECULA.... NOT Winchester!) and came on this crash just after fire trucks, etc arrived. There were several cars and a large PU truck involved. It really looked bad... hoping all involved are OK....

"someone had to be extricated from the wreck." Never sounds good. :/ I hope everyone is ok and no one is seriously injured.

I have Lived on East Benton Rd for ten years, my family and I drive thru that intersection everyday. People just drive to darn fast on that stretch. they need to put a three way stop there, at East Benton Rd and Warren Rd. They have them everywhere on Rancho Ca Road for all of the winery traffic. The point is if these cars traveling from Warren Rd to Rancho Ca road are driving at 65 to 70 miles an hour, then the cars pulling out of East Benton Rd don't have a chance. Its like trying to pull out on a freeway. I guess more people have to get hurt first. Frustrating!
