UPDATE: Coroner IDs Victim in Fatal Haun Road Motorcycle Crash

The crash involving a lone motorcyclist was reported at 8:25 p.m. Saturday in the 31000 block of Haun Road in Menifee, according to CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.

UPDATE 1:35 p.m. Sept. 22:

A 37-year-old man from southeast Los Angeles County was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed Menifee, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said Sunday.

The crash was in the 31000 block of Haun Road, and it was reported to the Menifee Police Department at 8:24 p.m. Saturday, according to a department statement.

The Coroner's Office later identified the motorcyclist as Vincent Longoria, from the L.A. suburb of Lynwood.

Officers arriving at the scene located Longoria in a dirt field next to his Suzuki motorcycle, according to a department statement. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Longoria had been traveling north on Haun Road when he left the paved roadway and lost control of his motorcycle.

Deputies asked anyone who witnessed the crash to call the Perris sheriff's station at 951-210-1000.

A fatal motorcycle crash occurred Saturday night on Haun Road in Menifee.

Firefighter/paramedics were dispatched at 8:25 p.m. to a crash involving a lone motorcyclist in the 31000 block of Haun Road—near Holland Road—according to CAL FIRE/Riverside County fire Spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson.

"The motorcyclist perished at the scene," Hendrickson wrote, in an incident report.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department also responded to the scene.

The victim's identity had not been released by authorities as of publication time.
