Missing Woman Found Dead In Motel Room; Police Seek Boyfriend
The couple had last been spotted in the Lake Elsinore area, police said earlier this week.
Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a Lake Elsinore man whose girlfriend was found dead inside a Poway motel Wednesday.
Police issued a news release on the pair’s disappearance Tuesday, saying the two had last been seen Aug. 4.
According to police, yesterday afternoon’s discovery of Stewart’s body in a Best Western Plus at the 13000 block of Poway Road make Dorsey a person of interest.

“It appeared [Stewart] had been murdered elsewhere and transported to the motel where her body was found,” according to a statement from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
When police issued the Aug. 7 missing persons report, it stated the pair was “believed to be together and the circumstances surrounding their disappearance are unknown.”

The couple had last been spotted in the Lake Elsinore area, police said in the earlier report.
Dorsey is described as a white male, 6'1" tall with brown hair (see attached photo). He was last seen driving a 2003 Ford Explorer with a California license plate number of 6UDY773. The vehicle is dark blue with a gray primered hood and front fender, according to police.
