Menifee Crash Claims Life of Former High School Football Star

Donovan Adams, a 2011 graduate of Heritage High School, died Wednesday afternoon in a rollover crash on McCall Boulevard in Menifee, according to a news report. Three others were injured.

A former Heritage High School football star died and three other people were injured this afternoon in a rollover crash in Menifee.

The single-vehicle wreck happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Junipero Road and McCall Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

The driver of a sedan apparently lost control, causing the car to overturn.

Arriving paramedics found patients trapped inside the car, with one dead on arrival, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Donovan Adams, a 2011 graduate of Heritage High School in Romoland, did not survive his injuries, The Press-Enterprise reported, though a coroner's report had not been released as of Wednesday night.

Two of the four patients, confirmed by the newspaper as current or former Heritage High School students, were extricated from the car and rushed to the hospital.

Their condition was not immediately known.

McCall Boulevard was shut down for several hours at the location to accommodate crash scene investigators.
