The Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park lost property worth more than $4,000 in a burglary, and one suspect remained behind bars Saturday.

Sheriff's deputies went to the Cereal Street location Thursday and were told the burglary happened earlier that day. Tools, helmets, electronic equipment and iPads had been taken, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Steve Brosche said.

An investigation led deputies to a location in Corona later that day, where the stolen iPads were recovered. The other property was also recovered and a second suspect is believed to be at large, Brosche said.

Gabriel Patrick Lucero, 33, of Wildomar was arrested and booked for suspicion of second degree burglary, receiving stolen property and other violations.

Lucero remained in custody Saturday in lieu of $5,000 bail, records showed.

$5,000 is low bail for felony grand theft but probably enough to keep him locked up for awhile. Being a john is $2,500.
