Simpson is also wanted in connection with two other stabbings that occurred inside the residence this morning. Both victims survived the attack and were transported to a local hospital where they underwent surgery, Gomez said. Their conditions at this time were unknown.

Two other people were inside the home at the time of the attack, Gomez said.

The suspect is described as being 6-feet tall and weighing 120 pounds. No clothing description was available at press time.

“People need to stay indoors right now,” Gomez warned.

A police helicopter is being used overhead, and bloodhounds have been called in to follow blood spatters, according to radio reports.
