Lake Elsinore Man Pleads Guilty to Robbing Murrieta Circle K

Adam Michael Paradise, 27, was arrested Oct. 24 in Lake Elsinore by Murrieta police detectives.

A Lake Elsinore man pleaded guilty Thursday to robbing a Murrieta convenience store.

Murrieta police detectives arrested Adam Michael Paradise, 27, on Oct. 24 in connection with an Oct. 14 robbery at Circle K, 39850 Los Alamos Road.

Police said the robber entered Circle K, simulated a weapon behind his back and demanded money from the clerk. He then made off with cash and cigarettes, according to police.

Paradise, who also goes by the last name of Jaworski, initially pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned Oct. 27, according to court records.

During a hearing held Thursday, Paradise changed his plea to guilty, records showed.

Paradise is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 13 for robbery and possession of a controlled substance, court records indicated.

He previously had a warrant out for his arrest in connection with a misdemeanor charge of possession of hypodermic needles, records showed.

Paradise remains jailed at Southwest Detention Center. He is being held on no bail, according to jail records.
