2:10 a.m. in Murrieta at Cal Oaks: 24-year-old white female arrested on suspicion of drunk driving

3:11 p.m. in Murrieta at Murrieta Hot Springs Road: 31-year-old Hispanic male arrested on suspicion of probation violation, being under the influence of a controlled substance, sales/transport/distribution of a controlled substance

3:12 p.m. in Murrieta at Via Espana: 25-year-old white male arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance

7 p.m. in Murrieta at Via Segovia: 49-year-old male (race unknown) arrested on suspicion of cruelty to a dependent adult, terrorist threats, probation violation

8:09 p.m. in Murrieta at Hancock: 25-year-old black malPathe arrested on suspicion of possession/sale of a controlled substance, obstructing/resisting a police officer

10:40 p.m. in Murrieta at Madison: 34-year-old Hispanic male arrested on suspicion of drunk driving

11:50 p.m. in Murrieta at Alicia: 27-year-old white male arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct involving drugs/alcohol

1:08 a.m. in Murrieta at the 215 Freeway at Clinton Keith Road: 23-year-old white male arrested on suspicion of drunk driving

1:30 a.m. in Murrieta at Murrieta Hot Springs: 29-year-old Hispanic male arrested on suspicion of drunk driving

2:10 a.m. in Murrieta at Jackson: 25-year-old white male arrested on suspicion of battery on a former companion, resisting/obstructing a police officer, burglary

11:29 a.m. in Murrieta at Sky Canyon: 41-year-old white female arrested on suspicion of possession/being under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia

3:53 p.m. in Murrieta at Murrieta Hot Springs: 23-year-old white male arrested on suspicion of burglary

4:40 p.m. in Murrieta at Washington: 42-year-old white female arrested on suspicion of battery on a police officer, obstructing/resisting a police officer; also arrested a 50-year-old white female on suspicion of disorderly conduct involving drugs/alcohol

5:23 in Murrieta at Adams: 21-year-old white male arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment, inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/coinhabitant

9:29 p.m. in Murrieta at Murrieta Hot Springs: 20-year-old white male arrested on suspicion of burglary and violation of probation

12:50 a.m. in Murrieta at Murrieta Hot Springs: 52-year-old white female arrested on suspicion of drunk driving

2:30 a.m. in Murrieta at Murrieta Hot Springs: two 24-year-old white males and a 31-year-old white male arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct involving drugs/alcohol

3:06 a.m. in Murrieta at Buttercup: 22-year-old Hispanic male arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct involving drugs/alcohol

10:17 a.m. in Murrieta at Wildflower: 41-year-old Hispanic male arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance

1:44 p.m. in Murrieta at Los Alamos: 34-year-old white male arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/coinhabitant

5 p.m. in Murrieta (location unknown): Murrieta PD arrested a 26-year-old white male on suspicion of exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm and making terrorist threats

The following is the press release from MPD: On 05-21-13, at 3:27 AM, the Murrieta Police Department received a call of a water-main break in the area of California Oaks Road and Monroe Avenue. Murrieta Police and Murrieta Fire Department initially responded to the scene and discovered a large sinkhole in the westbound lanes of California Oaks Road just west of Jackson Avenue. The sinkhole was approximately 4 feet deep and about 20 feet across. The hydraulic pressure from the water-main break appears to have created this sinkhole and damaged all the westbound lanes of California Oaks from approximately Jackson to Monroe. As a result, the westbound lanes of California Oaks between Jackson and Monroe will be closed for repair until further notice. Rancho Water Officials estimate that these repairs will take approximately one week to complete. When traveling in this area please expect delays and plan an alternate route in order to arrive at your destination on time.
