JAIL RECORDS: Arrests in Murrieta for Oct. 22

The following arrests were made Oct. 22, 2012 in Murrieta, according to Riverside County Sheriff's jail records for Southwest Detention Center.

At 10:28 p.m. Sunday on Calle Del Lago, a 45-year-old Hispanic male was arrested on suspicion of battery, inflicting injury on a spouse, making terrorists threats, driving without a license and exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm.

At 1:20 p.m. on Dakota Springs Way, a 23-year-old white male was cited and arrested on suspicion of battery of a former companion.

At 3:24 p.m. at Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Madison Avenue, a 44-year-old white male was arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony and violation of state parole.

At 3:40 p.m. at Washington Avenue and Jerry Allen Lane, a 21-year-old white male was cited and arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.

At 10:35 p.m. at Grizzly Ridge and Mountain Breeze drives, an 18-year-old white male was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance intended for sale and disorderly conduct under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

Murrieta property owners need to be especially watchful now that we have a large influx of renters moving into distressed homes. Open your eyes. Police need to focus on car registration as well. Seeing a lot of cars without plates, ---easy escape for a hit and run

I'm sure the 50% unemployment for teens and young adults might also have something to do with it. 3 of the 5 were 23 and younger.
