I-215 Northbound Lane in Murrieta Reopens After Wreck

An accident involving a motorcycle and at least one vehicle caused authorities to close one lane of traffic on northbound Interstate 215 Wednesday night in Murrieta, CHP reported.

A lane on northbound Interstate 215 in Murrieta was blocked for nearly two hours Wednesday night while authorities worked an accident scene, California Highway Patrol reported.

The accident was reported just after 9 p.m. near Murrieta Hot Springs Road, according to CHP's online dispatch log.

Unconfirmed reports were that the crash may have involved a motorcycle and at least one vehicle.

An ambulance was sent to the scene, but the extent of injuries was unclear.

Tow trucks were required.

The wreckage was cleared and all lanes were restored by 10:51 p.m, CHP reported.
