Gang-Related Warrant Served at Murrieta Apartment Complex

A warrant to collect evidence was served by the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force early Tuesday at Rancho Las Brisas Apartments.

No arrests were made when a search warrant was served at a Murrieta apartment complex early Tuesday.

Law enforcement with the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force served the warrant at about 6 a.m. at a unit at , 40125 Los Alamos Road.

"It is a gang-related investigation that is ongoing," Murrieta police Lt. Tony Conrad confirmed.

The warrant was for the purpose of collecting evidence for the investigation, Conrad said, and not for the purpose of arresting anyone.

A resident at the apartment complex reported heavy police presence at the time the warrant was served.
