Family of Missing Husky Puppies Releases Footage of Alleged Thiefs

Two husky puppies allegedly taken from a Murrieta home in December have still not been located.

The Murrieta family who had two husky puppies taken from their home in December have released YouTube videos of footage from the home's surveillance cameras.

The videos show two individuals wearing dark clothing and hooded sweatshirts. One of the individuals is shown hopping a fence into the family's side yard, picking up a puppy, and then hopping back over the fence.

Lisa Daniels, the owner of the puppies, is still seeking information about the suspects almost two months later. Daniels left to run an errand on Dec. 15 at about 10 a.m. The footage correlates with the timeframe during which Daniels was gone.

Through posting several Craig's List ads, Daniels said she has gotten several tips. One such tip led her to a swap meet in Winchester, where she said several individuals sell dogs in the parking lot. A tipster told her they might have seen the two puppies there several weeks ago.

The Daniels' home is adjacent to Murrieta Valley High School. At one point, Daniels believed students from the high school could have been involved in the alleged theft. Other surveillance shows a light-blue Honda Odyssesy van parked in the neighborhood on the day of the puppies' disappearance.
