FBI Releases 2011 Crime Stats For Murrieta

Violent and property crimes nudge up in Murrieta.

Violent and property crimes have edged up in Murrieta, according to new figures released Monday from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The FBI’s 2011 Uniform Crime Report (see chart below) shows that compared to 2010, Murrieta has seen a 6 percent uptick in violent crimes.

The newly released report also shows that property crime has gone up by 6 percent over the 2010 numbers.
