A fire broke out next to Interstate 215 today.
The fire was reported at 2:59 p.m. on the northbound side just south of Los Alamos Road in Murrieta, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fire spread to both sides of one of the ramps, and the slow lane was closed, the CHP reported. Firefighters were on the scene fighting the blaze shortly after it was reported.
