Car Crashes, Overturns on I-15 at Cal Oaks Road

A solo car crash caused authorities to briefly issue a sig alert Friday evening for northbound Interstate 15 at California Oaks Road in Murrieta.

A gold Toyota Camry was overturned on the right shoulder, causing two lanes to be blocked, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The crash was first reported at 6:44 p.m., with construction barrels and sand strewn across at least one lane.

The traffic alert was issued at 6:53 p.m. and was expected to last 30 minutes to one hour, however all lanes were reported open as of 7:07 p.m.

There was no information on injuries.
