A candlelight prayer vigil will take place Sunday on behalf of the family of a French Valley woman seeking answers in her death.
The vigil is planned for 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30 at the corner of Washington Street and Brookridge Lane in Winchester, where the near-dead body of 68-year-Wanda McGlover was found in a ditch Sept. 21.
Though initial reports were that it may have been a hit-and-run accident, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced Friday it was investigating the death as a homicide.
A spokesperson for the family asked the community to come out and show their support at Sunday's vigil.
