Burglary Suspects Still Outstanding, Police Say

Two suspects allegedly caught in the act of breaking into a Carly Court home Thursday night were not yet identified as of Friday, police said.

Two suspects were allegedly caught in the act of breaking into a Carly Court home at about 9:10 p.m. Thursday as the residents arrived home.

Those suspects have yet to be identified, Murrieta police Lt. Markellus Reid told Patch Friday.

The victims chased the suspect out of their home and into a near Jackson Avenue and Nutmeg street, but lost sight of them, police said.

Police set up a containment area and called in a sheriff's helicopter but were unable to locate the suspects.

However, Reid said some stolen items were discovered in a greenbelt behind the victims' residence. Recovered items included several TVs and jewelry, which Reid said may have been taken from more than one residence.
