Body of Man in French Valley Identified

The body was identified as Danny Carrillo of Winchester.

The body of the man found in French Valley Wednesday morning has been identified by the Riverside County Coroner's Office.

Winchester resident Danny Carrillo, 27, was discovered at approximately 5:45 a.m. at the north shoulder of Pat Road, at the intersection of Black Berry Way by a driver who was passing by the area.

According to Sgt. B. Sechrest of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Carrillo's death is being classified as a suicide. He was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head, the sergeant confirmed.

Carrillo's time of death has not been determined. He was spotted alive just before midnight, the sergeant said.
