Antelope Road Crash Claims Life of 25-Year-Old

Emily Blake, 25, died Friday night from injuries suffered in a head-on collision on Antelope Road just north of Scott Road at the Murrieta-Menifee border.

A Menifee woman has died following injuries suffered in a head-on collision Friday night on Antelope Road, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Office.

Emily Blake, 25, was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar following the 5:19 p.m. crash, but was pronounced dead on arrival, according to the coroner's report.

According to a preliminary investigation by the Sheriff’s Department, Blake was driving a Hyundai Accent northbound that was sideswiped by a Honda Civic traveling southbound. The Civic then hit another northbound car head-on. The driver of the Civic, a female juvenile, was hospitalized with critical injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

The driver of the second car hit by the Civic was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Two other northbound vehicles collided as they attempted to avoid the head-on collision, according to the department. That collision did not result in any injuries.
