2 Sought in Target Liquor Heist

Police want to question two women they believe may have acted together to shoplift hundreds of dollars worth of liquor from Super Target in Murrieta.

Two women suspected of shoplifting $267 worth of tequila and whiskey from a Murrieta retail store are sought by police.

The alleged theft occurred at about 2:28 p.m. March 30 at Super Target, 27818 Clinton Keith Road, Murrieta, according to a wanted flier posted on the Murrieta Police Department website.

The pair allegedly worked together.

The first suspect, described as a white female around 35 years old with brown hair and weighing about 170 pounds, is accused of removing her jacket and using it to cover the liquor in the cart.

The second suspect, described as a white female, also around 35 years old, with brown hair and weighing about 260 pounds, allegedly pushed the loaded shopping cart out of the store without paying.

Police believe the women may have been driving a gray four-door Nissan Maxima.
