One person was injured Wednesday in a rollover crash into a condominium.

The single-car crash was reported at 6:54 a.m. Wednesday in the 39100 block of Flamingo Bay Lane in an unincorporated area of Murrieta, according to Melody Hendrickson of CAL FIRE/Riverside County.

The Flamingo Bay address belongs to a multi-family condo complex off Murrieta Hot Springs Road south of Winchester Road.

Thirteen firefighters responded to find one person suffering from moderate injuries, Hendrickson wrote in an incident report. The injured person was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, she said.

The crash resulted in moderate damage to the front entrance of the building, according to Hendrickson.

American Medical Response, Building and Safety, California Highway Patrol and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the scene, Hendrickson wrote.

Does anyone know what type of car was involved or male/female?

I live right next to where it happened and saw the aftermath that morning. It was a black BMW. I don't know anything regarding the driver. It is a really strange situation because it seems impossible to get up the kind of speed in that area to do the kind of damage that occurred. This is an area where mine and other children play. These are small roadways within a condo complex with a speed limit of 5mph. The idea that someone could get up the the kind of speed to do as much damage as it did is chilling.
