Coach Greg Ireland and his Nighthawk Football team have been playing as expected this season. Calpreps.com has them ranked 8th in the tough Inland Division and 59th in the state

The offense is lead by quarterback Andrew Blake. The Hawks' running Back Jacob Augustine and wide receivers Aaron Paisley and Brandon Iacobellis are key tools at Blake’s disposal.

Murrieta Valley’s Defense has been exceptional so far in their first their games. Defensive linemen Michael Payne, Jordan Silva, linebackers Mikey Almodovar, Jacob Macias and Davis Day are tough to move the chains against.

The Mustangs have scored only 13 points in their first two games. They averaged 87.5 yards on the ground and 78.5 in the air. Roosevelt is coming off a 48-13 beating from Tustin High School last Friday.
