Anchorage's Wolverines in Town to Take on Vista Murrieta

South High ranked No. 2 in Alaska

Coach Lewis and his Wolverines have traveled south from Alaska to take on the Broncos tonight.

The game will start at 6 p.m. and will be a rare double header. San Diego University City will play Everett Archbishop Murphy from Washington in the second game at 8:30 pm.

The Wolverines are 4-0 and have outscored opponents 199-9 this season. South High has averaged 52 points, passed for 153 yards and rushed for 309 yards per game. Offensive players to watch are quarterback Zachary Lujan, receivers Taylor Faagau, Dante Williams and Kahill Autry.

South High’s stingy defense is lead by Dalton Sauder and Dalton Hopp. The Wolverines have only given up 9 points in four games. They average five sacks a game.

Admission Friday night is $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors. The fee covers both games. Come out and support your Broncos. 

Murrieta Mesa and Murrieta Valley both travel to their 7 p.m. games tonight: Murrieta Mesa to Tahquitz in Hemet, and Murrieta Valley to Roosevelt in Eastvale. Calvary Murrieta travels to Notre Dame in Riverside for a 7 p.m. kick off.
