5 Things To Know In Murrieta Today: Oct. 24
It's new comic book day at Ryan's Comics.
1. Today should be mostly sunny, according to the National Weather Service, with a high of around 75. Tonight, look for mostly clear skies and a low around 50.
2. A Murrieta Planning Commission meeting scheduled for tonight has been canceled, according to a public notice posted Oct. 17. The next meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 at City Hall, 1 Town Square, 24601 Jefferson Ave.
3. Here's what's for lunch today at elementary schools in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District: Galaxy cheese pizza. 4. Take the little ones to story time today at the Murrieta Public Library. Wee Wigglers Story Time, for children ages 3 to 5, begins at 10:10 a.m. At 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. there is Mother Goose and Me, an on-the-lap story time designed for infants to 3-year-olds.
5. Make tonight a family night out at Big Cheese Pizza, where every Wednesday night kids eat free. Between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., those ages 10 and under eat free with an adult meal purchase. Big Cheese Pizza is located at 41080 California Oaks Road.
