5 Things To Know In Murrieta Today: Nov. 9

It is likely to rain again today.

1. Showers are likely before 10 a.m, when there is a 60 percent chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service. Otherwise, it is expected to be windy and mostly cloudy with a high near 63. Tonight, there is an 80 percent chance of more rain, with a low around 38.

2. Ryan’s Comics, 25021 Madison Ave., is hosting a Magic 2013 launch party tonight beginning at 7 p.m. There will be a free standard construction tournament and $10 drafts. Sign-ups begin at 6:30 p.m. Prizes will also be awarded.

3. Here's what's for lunch today at elementary schools in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District: a grilled drumstick and SunChips. 4. Calvary Murrieta Christian School High School Drama Department presents "Arsenic & Old Lace" by Joseph Kesselring tonight beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults; $8 for students.

5. Head to Brunswick Cal Oaks Bowl, 40440 California Oaks Road, for some bowling fun. Cosmic Bowling takes place from midnight to 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Music, laser lights, black lights and glow-in-the-dark features all make Cosmic Bowling nights out of this world.
