4.) Thursday the Always Safe & Healthy Safety Consulting and Training company, will be offering a CPR certification class for $59. Beginning at 10 a.m., the class will be held at 26499 Jefferson Ave. There are four spots still available. Always Safe & Healthy offers certification training for the individual and groups in CPR/AED and First Aid. All child care CPR & first aid courses include EMSA stickers and registration with the state. Certification cards and stickers are issued onsite. Registration is required but can be done by clicking here. Payment can be done at time of registration or the day of, however, cash only will be accepted at the door.
5.) Need some help with making your résumé shine? The Employment Development Department is holding a free Résumé Workshop beginning at 1:30 p.m. today. Topics include developing an effective résumé and composing cover and thank you letters.
