2. Elementary and middle school students in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District are on an early release schedule today and high schoolers have a late start. Parents, check your child's school website, as release times differ.
3. Here's what's for lunch today at elementary schools in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District: bean and cheese burrito. 4. College-bound students are encouraged to attend the “How to Write a Great College Application Essay” workshop on tonight at 6 p.m. at the Murrieta Public Library. This event is a parternship between the Library and Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, and is for teens in grades ninth to 12th and their parents. The free program will be held in the Library’s Community Room. The workshop is designed to improve the student’s ability to write an excellent college application essay. The various types of topics students will encounter, the four steps to writing a winning essay, and much more will be reviewed in this program.
